Q: When I click [Update] on Rising Antivirus, I get the error message "Network connection failed. Please check the network configuration and try again."

A: The update problem may be caused by network errors or maintenance of the Rising update servers. Please try again later.
Solution:
1) Check your network connectivity.
2) Open the main program of Rising Antivirus, select Settings -> Network Settings and choose your Internet access method. For broadband and LAN users, choose option 1 or 2. For proxy users, configure the proxy server options appropriately.
3) Close all firewall programs on your computer and check again if the update is possible.
4) Close the Rising memory monitors and tries to update again
5) The update problem may be caused by network errors or maintenance of the Rising update servers. Please try again later.
6) After all above actions have been attempted, click Start -> Run and enter cmd:
Under the prompt, type in ping download.rising.com.cn
Under the prompt, type in ping update.rising.com.cn
As a response to the ping command, you will see the IP address of the Rising update server. Please include this in your mail to Rising customer service.
Please go to
http://support.rising-global.com to report the pinged address.
